Abstract
When I get an idea for an abstract or a surreal image, I often see them as part of a panel, rather than a stand-alone image
1st Row Straight images of two wooden picture frames interacting
2nd Row Similar to Row 1 but with a little help from Photoshop I tweaked the images to present a distorted view of reality
3rd Row From a much larger “Red Series” of surreal images, obeying the “rule” of the juxtaposition of two incongruous objects
4th Row “Ron’s Rag”. Ron is a bowling friend who always used a worn-out chamois leather rag to dry his bowls. When he was about to discard it for a new one, I begged him for his old one – I had seen something in my mind’s eye – and this is it! Herr Rorschach eat your heart out!
5th Row Weeds Galore. My ARPS panel was a panel of 15 prints of flowers from tiny weeds and herbs. These images are of tiny weeds or flowers with interesting shapes when seen in their entirety. Influenced by Karl Blossfeldt.
6th Row Just something to do with a pineapple on a wet Sunday!
